System theoretical considerations of high pressure treatment of biotechnological substances
The present contribution aims at giving an overview of the different aspects required for adaptive high pressure processing of biomatter. This is done systematically, whereby the discussion is guided by system theoretical considerations. In this context, the urgent requirement for creating an adaptive process management missing in literature is obvious. Adaptive strategies have to include considerations regarding the interactions of all the components of the high pressure system, variances due to the biological origin of the substances, and, particularly, methods for managing different data and knowledge sources. Thermofluiddynamical processes have been recognized to influence essentially molecular and cellular mechanisms and kinetics. But, adaptation can be realized only by using knowledge management systems which allow for self-learning and extracting human knowledge. In this contribution it is suggested to use modern hybrids such as Neuronumerics and Numerofuzzy
