Abstract:

The paper presents a dissertation project that aims to support analysis and decisions on matters of IS cost. It extends an enterprise modeling approach with concepts relevant for modeling IS organizations and the corresponding cost information. The resulting method contributes to structuring the domain and fosters communication among the dierent stakeholders, and in so doing promises to complement and improve existing accounting, IS accounting, and IS management approaches.
