Abstract:

Resonant tunneling device logic circuits based on a modification of the monostable–bistable transition logic element (MOBILE) are presented. The improvements of the basic MOBILE are motivated from the viewpoint of the circuit design and comprise a separate power supply and clock, a dual threshold voltage process, and on-chip clock delay lines. As example a pipelined full-adder circuit is shown.
