Abstract:

The present work deals with the computational determination of effective material properties of electro-mechanically coupled materials. In this context, a two-scale homogenization ansatz for piezoelectric ceramics based on an FE2-approach is utilized. In this way we are able to compute the overall macroscopic material moduli for microheterogeneous structures.
