Abstract:

Experiments are presented which show the possibility of measuring vibrational temps. of NO upon excitation in the NO A-X(0,0) and (0,2) band. Measurements have been shown in lean and sooting ethylene/air flames. The laser-induced fluorescence intensity ratios are calibrated in the lean flame using CARS temp. profiles. The possibility of single-shot temp. measurements using only one laser is discussed.
