Abstract:

In this study we present a simulation tool, called LIISim, for simulating laser-induced incandescence (LII). Different heat conduction models can be selected and mono- or polydisperse particles can be chosen as well as isolated, single particles or aggregates. We present a web interface that allows the scientific community to directly use this simulation tool. This will simplify the comparison of LII models developed by different research groups.
