Abstract:

Three properties of toluene-LIF have been found to depend on temperature. With increasing temperature: 1) total signal intensity decreases 2) the emission spectrum shifts to the red and 3) effective fluorescence lifetimes decrease. Each effect enables quan-titative T-measurements.
