Abstract:

A supramol. 1:1 complex of the title compds. was prepd. and its elec., optic, and magnetic properties were studied. It undergoes light-induced cooperative proton-electron transfer which is switched back by heating to 60 Deg. The complex exhibits a unique form of photochromism and displays paramagnetism.
