Abstract:
Reaction of octamethyldiazaferrocene tetramethylpyrrole adduct with AgBF4 in MeOH gave 47% title complex I. The crystal structure detn. of I.2MeOH shows that the bridging coordination mode of diazaferrocene ligands have a nearly linear geometry at Ag atoms.
