Stable carbon isotopes of graphite from Bogala Mine, Sri Lanka.

Abstract:
The ratios of the C isotopes 13C and 12C of 24 graphite [7782-42-5] samples from Bogala Mine, Sri Lanka were detd. The graphites are isotopically very similar (mean value -7.76.permill. d13CPDB; range <2.permill.). Three models for the biogenic or abiogenic origin of the graphite deposit are discussed.
