Abstract:

For trace and ultra trace anal. of heavy metals an accumulation of the analyte on a sorbent is often necessary. Such a sorbent is DETATA, which is related to the EDTA complex. The DETATA is a compd. with N-contg. functional groups like 1,4,7-triazaheptan-1,4,7-triacetate bound to a polymer. Good results were achieved for the sepn. of heavy metals from different sample matrixes.
