Data on the microbiol. at corrosion sites of steel piles in different German marine harbors are presented for the macro- and micro-environments at the low-water level (esp. cell counts for sulfate reducing bacteria and thiobacilli). Included are pH-value, O content, and potential measurements taken at and under the fouling layer which is responsible for microbiol. influenced corrosion.
