Abstract:

Preferable conditions for the thermal decompn. of H2S, one stage in the thermochem. water splitting cycles of metal-S families, are described. To sep. H2 from H2S after condensation of S a pressure-swing adsorption on zeolite or carbon mol. sieves is proposed which may also be suitable for sepg. H2S from other gas mixts. such as natural gas and noble gas.
