The influence of spectral resolution on the quantitative near infrared spectroscopic determination of an active ingredient in a solid drug formulation.
This short communication is intended to demonstrate the influence of spectral resoln. on the quant. detn. of an active ingredient in a solid drug formulation by diffuse reflection near IR spectroscopy. As model system we have chosen a mixt. of the active ingredient acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) with cellulose and starch as excipients.
