Abstract:

A recently developed double-beam long-path UV-laser absorption technique was applied to direct detn. of OH in the troposphere. The technique improves on previously applied laser absorption methods by use of sub-Duppler resoln. anal. laser lines, as well by use of a ref. laser beam. Initial tests show that the method provides the required detection sensitivity.
