Laser photolysis/resonance fluorescence study of the rate constants for the reactions of hydroxyl radicals with ethene and propene.

Abs. rate consts. for the title reactions were measured using excimer laser photolysis to generate .bul.OH radicals and time-resolved resonance fluorescence as its monitor. Both reaction rates were pressure dependent, and show fall-off behavior at high pressure.
