VOC oxidation under high nitrogen oxide (NOx) conditions: mechanisms and ozone formation potentials.
Results are presented of an exptl. approach addressing the problem of different NO to NO2 conversion stoichiometry in the first stage of VOC (volatile org. compds.) degrdn. It is shown that these results may be utilized in simplifying formulations of photochem. oxidant formation mechanism providing criteria for O3 formation potentials in VOC oxidn.
