The university bibliography lists monographs, articles, editorial activities and electronic publications of members of Duisburg-Essen University.
It additionally includes dissertations and university teacher qualification theses as well as so-called "grey literature" that is published outside the book trade and, therefore, is difficult to research.
The bibliography entries are based mainly on the information provided by the authors themselves, since september, 2010 an editoral team revises and completes the new entries. There is, where necessary, a direct reference link from the university bibliography to Primo, the catalogue of the library, or to the full text of the publication.
The university bibliography is a central resource of the university that chronicles all the publication activities of the university members and provides online service that is updated daily and in real time. In this way the university presents its research results to the science and research communities and to the interested public, shows transparency and renders account regarding its activity. The possibility is there, at the same time, to prepare and export a list of personal publications of individual authors or chairs "on demand". The automatically built index for search engine robots enables search engines like Google to index the bibligraphic entries.
It is stated in the rectorate's resolution from the 3rd session of February 7th 2007, Appendix 2, Numeral 7.1, that:
"The faculties keep records of their publications (in full text, if necessary) on the central UDE document server (DuEPublico)."
As a member of the university of Duisburg-Essen you should, therefore, register your publications with this element of the university bibliography. If possibly, you should also make the full text available in DuEPublico. This way you will support the "green way" of Open Access, by making the text available on this server free of charge in parallel with your publication at a publishing company.
